My love for the outdoors began while I lived in Oregon. Having access to mountains, deserts, and an ocean just a short drive away fostered my sense of adventure and exploration. After moving to Kentucky, I earned a BA in Chemistry from the University of Louisville and found a passion for medicine. Before starting medical school, I got a taste of emergency medicine as an EMT in Nashville. Now I am excited to explore wilderness medicine as an field that marries these interests of mine beautifully.
